Ingredients
Donut Batter
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/2 c. Granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 c. Whole milk
1/4 c. Sour cream
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c. All purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Maple Icing
1 1/2 c. Powdered sugar, sifted
5 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp whole milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 lb Coleman bacon, cut into pieces and cooked until crispy on the stove, drain on paper towel and crumble any big pieces
Preheat oven to 350F and grease a donut baking pan with baking spray.

In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, whisking in between, until fully mixed.

Add in whole milk, sour cream, maple syrup and vanilla and whisk again until starting to form bubbles on the top and fully mixed.

Add in dry ingredients and whisk until fully mixed.

Spoon batter into a pastry/icing bag and cut off the tip. Pipe the dough into the donut pan, filling about 2/3 of the way.

Bake for 11-12 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out dry.

Repeat again with remaining batter.

Cool on a drying rack.

Whisk together sifted powdered sugar, maple syrup, whole milk, and vanilla extract. Dip each donut into the maple icing and put on drying rack. Top with crumbled bacon.
